Innocent and Shameless . .

I am always blown away by the hilarious things children say without meaning to be funny. . . I was sitting in singing time with the 4 & 5 year-olds that I teach at my church, when out of my peripheral vision I caught one of my young boys gazing at me with utter disgust. I asked him if everything was ok, when all of a sudden he picked up my hand, carefully examined my fake nails, and looked me straight in the eyes and said ,  "You need to trim these."

haha! i just got called to primary so i'm looking forward to all sorts of cute and crazy comments. last week i was talking about ways that our families show their love for us, and this kid was bouncing out of his seat b/c he was raising his hand so vigorously, "ooooh, ooooh, pick me". so i called on him, and (still can't figure out the connection) but all he had to say was, "one time my mom had a puppy and it died." i had a tough time rebounding from that comment. anyway, i think primary ought to be fun and at the very least, worth a few good laughs! :)

LOL. That's hilarious! It is so fun to hear the crazy things children will say. I wish i could dive inside their heads and get a peek at the way their minds work. I love it.
